Update
We've temporarily disabled one of our IP transit providers due to connectivity issues. Dimension Data customers may experience increased latency as they refused to accept our prefixes through our other upstreams.

Update
We've rerouted some networks and overall performance should be better now. Please open a ticket if you are still experiencing connectivity issues and we'll do our best to resolve them.

Identified
We've been informed that several submarine cable systems are currently down and all of our transit providers are affected. This issue is causing packet loss and high network latency not only for our customers in the Johannesburg data center, but also for most African countries.

An exact ETR is not available at this time due to the complexity of the incident and we are actively communicating with our upstream providers to expedite the resolution process.
